Each year, companies with at least 50 employees are required to calculate their overall score for the Gender Equality Index. Univers Retail received the following score:

Univers Retail has been awarded 2 ChooseMyCompany labels for companies whose employees declare themselves to be committed, motivated and happy in a 100% anonymous survey.

We obtained a participation rate of 75,4%and a recommendation rate of 75%.

The label HappyIndex®AtWork rewards companies where employees are the happiest and most fulfilled. With a score of 4,36/5, Universe Retail is proud to have been awarded this label for the fourth year running.

WeImpactIndex© label

This label recognizes companies with a genuine policy of social and environmental responsibility. Universe Retail was awarded a 4,03/5 for the second year in a row, and ranks 3rd place among the 30 companies with 50 to 99 employees.

Our cabone balance sheet

Our carbon footprint is well below that of our sector, with GHG emissions of 2.9 t eq CO2 per employee (vs. 4.1 t eq CO2 per employee in 2022).

Thanks to this report, which details our emissions item by item, it will be easier for us to prioritize our actions over the coming months.

We called on Greenly to measure our carbon footprint, based on the Ademe methodology and the Iso 14064-1 standard.

This report covers scopes 1, 2 and 3, i.e. emissions directly linked to our activity, all indirect emissions from electricity consumption and heating/cooling networks, as well as transport and waste management.

 

OUR ECOVADIS LABEL

Univers Retail was awarded an EcoVadis bronze medal. With an overall score of 55/100, these results testify to our commitment to continuously improving our responsible practices.

As a reminder, the EcoVadis rating, ranging from 0 to 100, evaluates each company according to its size, location and sector of activity. It focuses on 4 dimensions of CSR :

  • Social & Human Rights
  • The environment
  • Ethics and governance
  • Responsible purchasing policy

These criteria are based on CSR reference standards, such as the UN Global Compact, ILO conventions, GRI standards, local laws and regulations, and ISO 26000.
