  • Purchasing Expert / Management Category
  • Golfer and wine enthusiast

What's your background?

With an ESC diploma in my pocket, I moved to the south-west of France to begin my sales career in a small business specializing in top-of-the-range wines and spirits. And like Obelix, I fell into the pot! I stayed for 5 years.

I then moved to the other side of the fence, joining Intermarché's purchasing department, first as a product manager and then as purchasing manager for "wines & spirits" and then "drugstore-hygiene".

In 2016, I decided to devote myself to passing on and coaching by setting up my own wine and spirits consultancy "ART VINI".

Why choose Univers Retail?

I came across "Univers Retail" in my career as a consultant and appreciated the human scale of the firm, the availability and kindness of my contacts, their know-how and their method. I was keen to learn how to structure my support skills. Of course, our interest in Retail brought us closer together!

What do you like best about your current job?

Supporting and transmitting teams to customers and within the firm. For me, people are the greatest asset of any company.

I also really enjoy managing global organizations and processes, so as to be able to give meaning to each player's job.

What advice would you give to new recruits?

> Never have preconceived ideas.

> Be curious and agile.

> Don't skip a step.

Apart from consulting, what are your passions?

Of course, discovering wines and spirits, especially those from Burgundy, golf (a new excuse to travel), literature, especially historical novels, classical music (with a soft spot for Beethoven and Verdi), admiring paintings, especially those by Caillebote and Berthe Morisot. And the joy of spending time with my family.
