What's your background?

After graduating from EPF with a degree in information systems management, I first worked in service companies as a J2EE developer, then as a project manager in various functional areas (army, stock exchange, insurance, telecommunications, etc.). I then moved on to E-commerce project manager positions, still in consulting, to get closer to the business. I then spent 10 years working for FNAC.com and GALEC on E-commerce and PIM issues.

I finally decided to return to the consulting sector by joining Univers Retail in 2017 as Manager in the Omnichannel Business Line.

Why choose Univers Retail?

Firstly, because I've had positive feedback from consultants I've met along the way.

I then chose Univers Retail for the following reasons:

> In the course of my career, I've been able to discover many different functional areas, but what interests me most is the E-Commerce/Retail sector; what could be more natural than to choose a firm specializing in Retail?

> Its human scale and friendly, local management. Today, there are around fifty of us, which makes it easy for us to exchange ideas, especially at Business Lines Days, afterworks and inter-Business Lines Team Building events.

What do you like best about your current job?

The fact of being both on assignment at a customer site, and managing a group of consultants. But also helping management to develop the Business Line.

What advice would you give to new recruits?

Sharing is one of our core values. Most of our consultants come from the advertiser's side of the business (which is our strength), so they shouldn't hesitate to approach their manager or other consultants to discuss any difficulties they may be encountering, or any questions they may have about their assignments. That's what we're here for!

Be curious, get to know others, both on assignment and within the firm!

Apart from consulting, what are your passions?

I love horses. If I don't have the time to ride anymore, I can't help raving every time I see one (I love the Friesians and the nobility of their attitudes). I'm also very interested in French history (Renaissance).

Tennis. Although I no longer play, I still spend a lot of time on the courts, cheering on my children, attending Grand Slam tournaments and the Davis Cup...
