Supporting the deployment of a new logistics organization

Project background

As part of the transfer of logistics activities to a new service provider, the retailer needed an experienced logistics implant to act as an interface between service providers, central services and stores during the stock transfer and ramp-up phases.
Approach / Results

We contributed to the implementation of the brand's new logistics organization by participating in :

  • Coordinate users on business processes and their formalization.
  • Reliable physical and computerized inventories between service provider and customer,
  • Guarantee compliance with customer specifications for the various activities.
  • Implement the continuous improvement process and associated KPIs.
  • Support service providers in sharing and appropriating the activity.
  • Ramp-up and peak season (March and April)
  • Start-up of all activities on schedule
  • Reduction in stock consistency anomalies (from +/- 50 stock anomalies/day in November to +/- 6/day in April)
  • Improved transport optimization
  • Compliance with specifications for the site's various activities
