Project background
To support the transformation of the Inventory and Supply Management team at both operational and strategic levels, the French subsidiary called on Univers Retail to :
- Operational management of the supply and inventory team: ensuring product availability and developing relations with internal customers.
- Frame and define inventory strategy: implement structuring projects for supply management and logistics planning, analyze costs to optimize inventory, and draw up functional requirements with the IT Department to develop solutions supporting business processes.
- Transform the existing team: in close collaboration with General Management, define the medium-term strategy for the Supply & Inventory team, set up the target organization and support the team's skills development to achieve its strategic ambitions.

Approach / Results
Our approach
To meet the customer's needs, we deployed the following methodological approach:
- Analysis and diagnosis of the existing situation.
- Definition of a strategic roadmap based on two axes: an operational axis, concrete, leading to rapid results and enabling the improvement of the day-to-day mission of the Supply and Inventory department. A longer-term strategic axis, based on the overhaul of the team's processes and missions, and its business approach through professionalization.
