The Cactus Group is a family-run business with over 123 years of history , and Luxembourg's leading supermarket chain with 27 sales outlets, 41 convenience stores and a team of nearly 4,400 employees.
In order to maintain this position and strengthen its results, Cactus launched a project to modernize its information systems, some of which were considered obsolete and limiting the company's development and digitalization.
Cactus identified a need for support in the design of the chosen ERP solution. This was particularly true for the management of business workshops, designed to prepare the implementation of the solution by the editor/integrator.
These workshops will be held on a number of themes, including :
- Preparing and transferring the article repository into the solution ERP solution
- Preparing and transferring price repositories and supplier contracts into the solution ERP solution
- Preparation and changeover of data feeds between the new ERP solution and the legacy system
- Setting up the technical foundation to prepare for IS transformation

Could you describe Cactus' business?
Cactus is the market leader in the Luxembourg supermarket sector, with 26 integrated stores and around 50 convenience stores under the Shoppi banner. We are a highly integrated value chain company, managing almost all our services in-house, from production plants to transport and customer service.
